Ingredients

  • 2 beef fillets about 200g each
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the beef fillets by seasoning them with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Add the beef fillets to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  • While the beef is resting, add the minced garlic and sliced bell peppers to the same skillet.
  • Stir in soy sauce and combine with the peppers, cooking for an additional minute.
  • Plate the beef fillets and top with the sautéed peppers, garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
