Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wings That Pack a Punch

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce such as Frank's RedHot
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar white or apple cider

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Prep the chicken wings by patting them dry with paper towels.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until well coated with the seasoning mixture.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer on a wire rack placed over a baking sheet.
  • Bake the wings for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • While the wings bake, prepare the Buffalo sauce by melting butter and mixing it with hot sauce and vinegar.
  • Once baked, remove the wings from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes.
  • Toss the baked wings in the Buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  • Serve immediately with your choice of dips and celery sticks.
