Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and melted butter.
  • Fold in the chopped pecans right before pouring the batter into the pan.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
