Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
Remove cooked shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter and add minced garlic.
Pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously.
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
Add broccoli to the sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Toss the cooked fettuccine and shrimp into the sauce.
Serve immediately with extra Parmesan and freshly cracked pepper.
