While the tomatoes are roasting, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
Once the tomatoes are roasted, remove from the oven and mash slightly with a fork.
Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish, mixing well to combine with the sauce.
Stir in the fresh basil just before serving.
