Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder on both sides.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
  • In the same skillet, lower the heat, then pour in the heavy cream, scraping the bottom to deglaze.
