Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt the butter in a 9-inch round cake pan.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar over the melted butter in the pan.
  • Arrange the pineapple slices on top of the brown sugar mixture and place cherries in the centers.
