Indulgent Chocolate Kissed Coconut Macaroons

Rich chocolate meets chewy coconut in these Chocolate Kissed Coconut Macaroons, ideal for celebrations or a sweet everyday delight.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, form balls of the mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden.
  • While the macaroons cool, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  • Once the macaroons have cooled completely, dip the bottoms in melted chocolate and place them on a wire rack to set.
