Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated sugar.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  • Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Gently stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
