Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese 8 ounces
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pecans roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg beaten

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  • Place the brie cheese in the center of the rolled pastry.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberries, pecans, brown sugar, honey, and thyme.
  • Spoon the cranberry mixture onto the brie cheese, covering it generously.
  • Fold the puff pastry over the brie, pinching the seams to seal it.
  • Brush the top and exposed parts of the pastry with the beaten egg.
  • Place the wrapped brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
