Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 7-10 minutes.
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to incorporate all ingredients.
Add the diced potatoes and beef broth to the skillet, stirring to combine everything well.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Spread it out evenly for even cooking.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
