Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Roll out one can of crescent rolls and spread them into the bottom of a greased baking dish, sealing the seams.
Layer the cooked sausage, pepperoni, marinara sauce, and 1 cup of mozzarella over the crescent roll base.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top, followed by Italian seasoning.
Roll out the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top, sealing the edges carefully.
Brush the beaten egg over the top of the dough to promote browning.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and puffy.
Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
