Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 8 oz sirloin steak
  • 8 oz shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add the diced sirloin steak to the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • Incorporate the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella and parsley, mixing until well combined.
  • Slice the French bread lengthwise and hollow out some of the insides to create space for the filling.
  • Fill the hollowed bread with the steak and shrimp mixture, pressing it down gently to fit.
  • Wrap the filled loaf in aluminum foil and place it in the oven.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, then unwrap and bake for an additional 10 minutes to crisp the crust.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
