Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1-2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Green onions chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the chicken thighs by trimming any excess fat and patting them dry with paper towels.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Season the chicken thighs on both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of oil.
  • Place the chicken thighs in the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side.
  • Pour the honey-pepper sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
  • Reduce the heat to low and allow the chicken to simmer for about 5 more minutes, spooning sauce over the chicken occasionally.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
